Adrian Encinosa E-Portfolio
University of South Florida, MLIS
Summer 2025 - Fall 2026

Welcome!
Hi, my name is Adrian Encinosa and welcome to my E-Portfolio. I am working on my MLIS degree with the goal of becoming a special librarian that involves working in either an academic library, an archive or government related work. I have an interest in working in special collections department or ay department that deals with local records or history as far as archives or government related work goes in the MLIS field.
This E-Portfolio is constructed by a Home page and the student outcomes of my MLIS studies which are Leadership & Innovation, Systems & Services, Knowledge Representation, Theory & Praxis and a Statement of Integrity. The sections on this page that cover the four student outcomes contain artifacts that consist of assignments or projects that I have done throughout my MLIS program. Each artifact can be accessed by clicking on the names of the artifacts that are bold and underlined where a pdf of the artifact can be accessed and viewed.

About Me
My academic journey began in 2019 where I went to community college at Hillsborough Community College and earned my Associate of Arts degree in 2022. Afterwards, I know I wanted to pursue a Bachelor's in history as it is something that has always been a passion and interest of mine. Historical eras that I have an interest in are the medieval and early modern periods. During undergrad I took various courses on European and American that made a well-rounded student of history and finally earned my Bachelor's in history in 2024. After undergrad, I knew I wanted to continue my education and I decided to go a non-traditional path and pursue a Master's in Library Science and Information as i've always liked to read non-fiction and I like the idea of helping my community. I also have experience from both undergrad and grad school in work related to MLIS profession. Here is a link to my Resume
